Application and Function:

 

Formed wire suspension clamp, intended to fix conductor onto insulator chains on straight-line pole, or hang ground wire onto straight-line pole, may replace such vessel suspension clamps as XGU, XGF that widely used now in line.

Components: helical pre-twisted rod, rubber insert, metal clamp, U-strap, open bolt

1.   Tighten conductor, determine insulator’s hang-point on conductor, and mark it out. For not damaging conductor, should use soft pen or carbon rod. And then adjust conductor, having enough space and room to install suspension structural reinforcing rod;

2.   Make the rubber insert center aligned with conductor mark, fix insert with gum tape there;

3.   Make the structural reinforcing rod center aligned to the rubber insert center, and wind the pre-twisted rod around conductor on both sides of insert (two pitches on both sides). Note: not deform the structural reinforcing rod when winding, ensure no gap between pre-twisted rod and insert;

4.   After all rods are wound on insert, check and determine no crossover here. It may be installed singly, or multi-installed as shown, leave with both ends of structural reinforcing rod, fasten up onto conductor one by one finally;

5.   As shown, wind structural reinforcing rods are around conductor totally. Note: in the whole winding process, using no tool to avoid from damaging cable;

6.   Install both metal clamps in place of center, fasten lug up, regulate both metal clamp lugs and screw-hole on lug, keep them coincided for installing bolt;

7.   Installing bolt is through matching hardware, fasten nut until gripping liner is leveled, set up pin. Note: not screw too much, not close both of the metal lugs to the metal clamp too much;

8.   Installation is over.

 

 

 

Instruction:

 1.   It is a fine-designed product, for ensuring quality, it should be packed well in carton, be more careful in transportation and installation, to avoid from damage or deformation;  

 2.   It is a special one-off product, in no condition, it may be reused and changed;  

 3.   The maximum installation angle: if the turn angle between the supporting point and line is less than 30o, should select the single supporting-point suspension clamp. If 30o–60o, the double-supporting-point suspension clamp shall be preferred;  

 4.   The pre-twisted rod is matched in factory, not be mixed. Its direction in each set shall not be mixed or reversed;

 5.   For a line of 230KV or less, the axial misplace of pre-twisted rod shall be maintained within 20mm; for 345KV or more, the misplacement shall not surpass 10mm;
